κόσμος πόλει μὲν εὐανδρία, σώματι δὲ κάλλος, ψυχῇ δὲ σοφία, πράγματι δὲ ἀρετή, λόγῳ δὲ ἀλήθεια· τὰ δὲ ἐναντία τούτων ἀκοσμία.

The good order of a city lies in manliness; of a body, in beauty; of a soul, in wisdom; of an action, in virtue; of speech, in truth. And the opposite of these things is disorder.
